Ha! There is definitely a purpose for these - http://thegreenmenfanpage.com/ These are the unofficial mascots to our hockey team here in Vancouver, they're at everygame, sitting near the opposing team's penalty box, and they hackle whichever player got a penalty :P So yes, they do serve a great purpose! haha
My 18 year old little brother is on a hockey team and living with a host family in California -- the entire team recently bought these suits and they hit the town in those babies. I guess it's just a fun thing to do, getting all the weird reactions from people. They just do it for fun.
He did say they show EVERYTHING, if you know what I mean, so they wear their hockey cups so they aren't so..... um.... exposed. LOL
Go on Youtube and search "Always Sunny in Philadelphia Green Man" and you will DIE of laughter. It's a hilarious show, but they totally put these costumes into an even more hilarious perspective! They have AMERICAN flag ones! I saw them at Party City! SCARY!
Why? What is the purpose of these? I don't understand. hahaha! I'll take the blue one... JK JK! NO! haha!

ReplyDeleteHonestly Brit, you think we wouldn't have found a perfectly good use for these things our freshmen year? Are you nuts?
